Equine America Thiamine B1 3.8ltr
You should feed Thiamine B1:-
-To encourage appetite.
-After the use of anti-biotics.
-To a horse if it has eaten a large amount of bracken, as this can cause a B1 deficiency.
Thiamine B1 is produced in the horse's gut as well as being available in the horse's diet. Thiamine B1 is involved in the enzyme system that releases energy from stored carbohydrates. B vitamins are considered the body's 'feel good' vitamins and help with energy and vitality.
Antibiotics can upset the healthy bacteria in the hind gut where Thiamine B1 is produced and it may therefore, be necessary to feed after the use of antibiotics.
