HUNTING DRESSCODE AND RULES

Like within any equestrian discipline there are rules, dress codes and a course.

How Hunting works
The Master is the Leader of the Hunt, the Huntsman controls the hounds with the Whipper-in helping.  The Field Master controls the Field (which are the horses and riders). It is now illegal in the UK to fox hunt, however Hunts still gather and the hounds follow a trail instead. A Hunt normally takes place twice a week through the Hunting season which starts in November and end in March.
Under no circumstances must any rider pass the Master of the day.
Rules and dress code may vary slightly dependant on the hunt. So please check with the local hunt of their rules and regulations.

Dress code for the rider
See the Image below to point out the dress code for Hunting. Click on the text to view our range of products specifically for that type of clothing.
Please note that the dress code will slightly vary dependant  on the Hunt, however we can cater for all, so make sure you speak to your hunt regarding their rules and regulations.

Dress code for the horse
Regular tack is fine for a Hunt, you may wish to consider protective boots if you don't usually use them, due to the differences in terrain from a paddock or arena to Cross country ground.

Reference books and DVD's
As a present, reference or point of interest, many equestrian riders like to read about or watch information on their discipline or the equestrian sport in general.
